John David Love, age 76, of Locust Fork, AL., passed away on February 14, 2026. He retired from United Testing Service, Inc. as a Senior NDE Tech. He had many hobbies including watching Alabama Football, wood working, rock masonry, gardening, auto racing, and spending time with grandchildren. He was also a mason with the Locust Fork Chapter.He was preceded in death by parents Sanford and Lorene Nix Love; brothers Danny Love and Frankie Love; sister Debbie Longshore.He is survived by his wife Janice Ruth Love; son David Brian Love (Kristi); daughter Jania Sheree Auston (LaGrant); sister Sandra Newman; brothers Tommy Love (Cynthia) and Eddie Love; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other beloved family and friends.The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Pine Bluff Missionary Baptist Church from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Christopher Cornelius Moree

The Rev. Christopher Cornelius Moree—devoted husband, father, minister, missions leader, writer, and lifelong servant of the Church—was born June 1, 1932, in Riviera Beach, Florida. He was born to James and Iva Moree, both natives of the Bahama Islands, and grew up in a loving home with his five sisters. Reared in a family deeply active in the local Church of God congregation, he graduated from Palm Beach High School in 1950. After attending Belle Isle Business College, he felt God’s call to ministry, evangelizing across Florida before enrolling at Lee College (now Lee University) in Cleveland, Tennessee.While at Lee, he met his future wife, Sarah Fae Danehower of Gadsden, Alabama, daughter of pioneer preachers and church planters. They were married February 26, 1955, in Cantwell, Missouri, beginning a lifelong partnership in ministry that spanned more than six decades and took them to scores of nations around the world. Sarah…
