Lenora S. Hamrick 88 of Livingston Alabama passed away on September 30 2026. Lenora Jessie lived a vibrant missional life with godly wisdom and an abiding love for the Lord always thinking of others first. She gave of herself freely and served with a generous heart. She loved us unconditionally and encouraged us to live for Christ at every turn. Lenora was born in Mobile Alabama on October 1 1937 to William and Malissa Slaughter. Lenora received her Bachelor and Master Degrees of Education from University of West Alabama. She was married 48 years to Ray Hamrick Jr. and is survived by their daughters Cindy Larkin who is married to Butch Larkin and Suzy Spencer who is married to Tim Spencer. She was preceded in death by her son Dempsey Ray Hamrick her brother Jack Slaughter and her sister Ann Boreskey. While serving as a teacher social worker and church…
