Greggory William Gregg Farris age 67 of Elba Alabama departed this life on Sunday February 15 2026 at his home in Elba. Funeral services will be held from Hayes Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday February 18 2026 at 900 AM with Rev. Dewey Emfinger and Rev. Bob Hataway officiating. Committal services will follow in the Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be at Hayes Funeral Home on Tuesday February 17 2026 from 600 PM until 800 PM. Although disabled since 2009 from his work as an auto mechanic and in poultry farming Gregg remained devoted to ensuring his family was cared for. Michael R. "Mike" York age 64 a resident of Daleville Alabama passed away Thursday February 12 2026 at his home following an extended illness. In accordance with his wishes no formal services will be held. Mike leaves behind two daughters Ashley Petty of Anna Texas and Caitlin Harris of Lewisville Texas along with his mother Glenda York of Daleville Alabama. He is also survived by two brothers Robert "Bobby" York of Elba Alabama and Darryl York of Jack Alabama.
