Charlie Frank Hunter was born on March 12 1944 in Clay County Alabama to Charlie Hunter and Pearl Lee Griffin Hunter. He worked at Ace Products in Lineville for 30 plus years before his retirement in 2006. He loved spending time outside taking naps on his front porch and watching his old western movies. He also loved being around his grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. He was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church for more than 50 years where he served as a Deacon and later as Chairman of the Deacon Board. Janet McClure was born on January 23 1947 in Cherokee County Alabama to the parents of James M. and Lillie Fohy Landrom. She was one of two beautiful bouncing twins and the second oldest of four siblings. Janet was raised in the Pollards Bend community of Leesburg where she developed the strong work ethic and determination that would define her life. She graduated from Tuskegee University in 1971 before becoming the first Black Registered Dietitian in Valdosta Georgia. She later dedicated her career to the State of Georgias WIC Program where she worked to ensure that mothers infants and young children had access to nutritious food infant formula and nutritional support making a lasting difference in the lives of countless families.
