Debra Gabel Balentine age 65 of Florence Alabama passed away on May 14 2026. Services and visitation will be held at Williams Funeral Home on Tuesday May 19 2026. Visitation will be from 1200 P.M. till 200 P.M. with services at 200 P.M. in the Chapel with Jim Thacker officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Norman and Mamie Gabel. As well as her brotherinlaw Norm Head. Debra is survived by two children Austin Balentine Kesha Riley and Alisa Balentine Michael Dawson. Two sisters Norma Sandusky Jeff and Sharon Head. Her grandchildren were her favorite two pets in the world Paco and Blue. She also leaves behind numerous nieces nephews cousins aunts and uncles.

Jack was retired with Clark Pulley and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran during the Korean War. He was involved with the Elks Lodge of Corinth Mississippi and Florence Alabama. After a courageous battle with Primary Progressive Aphasia Alzheimers he is finally restored his voice returned and his mind clear once again. Sam was a beloved member of Grace House Church where he found encouragement community and spiritual family. A man of deep character integrity and quiet strength Sam was a graduate of Coffee High School 1966. He earned bachelors degrees in accounting and industrial management from Auburn University 1972 followed by an M.B.A. and a Certificate in Management Accounting from the University of North Alabama 1977.
