Funeral service for Willie Odessa King of Athens Alabama will be held on Tuesday April 7 2026 at 1200 noon at James Chapel Missionary Baptist Church 814 Lucas St Athens AL 35611 with Pastor Perry W. Torain Sr. as officiant and Minister Ollie Turner as eulogist. The body will lie in state from 1100 a.m. until funeral time. Interment and committal will be at the Thatch Mann cemetery. On Monday April 6 2026 public viewing will be from 1200 noon until 500 p.m. and family visitation from 500 p.m. until 700 p.m. at the Peoples Funeral Home.
