With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Janeice Desporte, age 87, of Chickasaw, Alabama, who went to be with the Lord on March 30, 2026.Janeice was born September 15, 1938, to Earl and Golden Shepherd.She is survived by her loving husband, John Bubba Desporte; son Jerry (Robbin) Desporte; daughter Terri (Robbie) Roberson, son Gary Desporte; grandchildren Shannon (Josh) Johnson, Stephanie Douglas (Stephen Bailey), Krystal (Michael) Howard, Jamie (Billy) Perry, Raven Desporte, Hunter Desporte, Bryan Clay and Dereck Robinson; numerous great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, and lots of loving family and friends; sisters - Joan (Jerry) Courington and Janette Hamilton.Janeice is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Golden Shepherd; brothers Wilbur, David, Dewayne, Donnie; and her daughter Cherry Desporte Gafford.Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing she is at peace.

Jimmy Eubanks, 65, of Chunchula, Alabama, passed away on March 25, 2026. Though our hearts are deeply saddened by his passing, we find comfort in knowing he is now at peace in the presence of his Lord and Savior, whom he loved with all his heart.Jimmy was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Melinda Eubanks, and a proud and loving father to Amber (Steven), Kyle (Malayia), Jennifer, and Jerred (Brittany). He was a cherished Pop-Pop to Billy, Jorden, Emily, Cannon, Barrett, Will, Blake, Elijah, and Charlie, all of whom brought him immense joy.He is also survived by his mother, Gerry Eubanks; his sisters, Lisa (Chuck), Melissa, and Cheryl; along with many beloved nieces and nephews who will forever hold his memory close.
