He was preceded in death by his parents Edward Deaton and Dorothy McAdams Deaton and his sister Cynthia Rachel. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Ramona Rigby Deaton and three children Michael Deaton Jr. Dione Sabrina Northcutt Michael and Joshua Deaton seven grandchildren Daniel Deaton Reagan Deaton Madison Northcutt Matthew Northcutt Tristan Deaton Brayden Deaton and Cohen Deaton Breighanna and one greatgrandson Samson Deaton. A visitation will be held on Saturday May 16 2026 at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home from 1100 a.m. to 1200 p.m. followed by a chapel service at 1200 p.m. Interment will be at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
