They shared a devoted life together and raised five children the late James Edward Fulford Ill Debbie Jeffrey Alan Fulford Becky Robert Lee Fulford T. Rose Larry Gene Fulford and Gary Lamar Fulford Tammy. Family was at the center of Gramps life and some of his happiest moments were spent surrounded by the people he loved most. Silas Joe Pope born June 25 1924 in Clarke County Al. went to be with his Lord and Saviour on October 12 2026. He was 102 years of age. He was preceded in death by his parents John Columbus Lum and Ada Pope two wives Lucille Rivers Pope Ruby Wilson Pope two sons Silas Don Pope and Gary Lee Pope one granddaughter Deon Berry six sisters and three brothers. He is survived by his children JoAnn Roy Bell Kaye Jack Agler Benny Stacy Pope Lynne Lowell Pearce and daughterinlaw Patsy Pope. He is also survived by one sister Mary Crownover one brother John Pope and numerous grandchildren great grandchildren great great grandchildren nieces nephews and other family. He was a Marine veteran of World War II receiving numerous medals for his service. He worked and retired from International Paper after thirty years. He loved to garden and watch things grow…
