Mrs. Betty Jean Bedsole Helton has gone to be with her Heavenly Father. Mrs. Helton was born in Linden AL on May 20 1934 and died April 1 2026 at her home in Monroeville AL. She had five sisters and two younger brothers. At the age of eighteen she became the legal guardian of her four younger siblings after the death of both parents. Family was always important to her and this was the only way to keep her family together. Mrs. Helton met and married the love of her life Raymond Helton in December of 1958. They both worked for Vanity Fair and lived in Linden and Butler AL before making Monroeville their home. They were members of First Baptist Church of Monroeville and always enjoyed their Sunday School Class and fellowshipping with the other members of the church.
