Mr. Jimmy W. McKenzie age 77 passed away Thursday August 27 2026 at SAADs Hospice in Mobile Ala. Mr. McKenzie was born in Monroe County where he remained a lifelong resident. He retired from the Fiberline at a pulp mill was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Eureka Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his parents James Monroe McKenzie and Lottie Griffin McKenzie and a sister Linda McKenzie Wiggins. Survivors include his wife Patsy Wiggins McKenzie of Franklin a son Jason Michelle McKenzie of Alabaster a daughter Brooke Derek Wiggins of Franklin 6 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday September 1 2026 at 1100 A.M. at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Owens and Rev. Josh Turberville officiating. Burial will follow at CorinthDeer Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1000 A.M. to service time at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home.
