Funeral service for Buford Lee Allen Sr. 86 will be Friday February 20 2026 at 100 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Geoff Halbrooks officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday February 19 2026 from 500 PM to 800 PM at Peck Funeral Home. Mr. Allen passed away on Sunday February 8 2026 at his residence. He was born December 29 1939 in Morgan County to Benton Allen and Katie Terry Allen who preceded him in death. He was employed by 3M Company as a Maker Operator for Line D4 Film Plant in Decatur prior to his retirement from 30 years of service. He loved taking his family on vacations and spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. He was a United States Army Veteran. Rachel Williams Wallace 95 passed away on Saturday February 14 2026. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday February 22 from 200 300 pm at Peck Funeral Home in Hartselle. The funeral service will immediately follow at 300 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Jonathon Todd officiating. A private interment service will be held for the family at Forrest Chapel Cemetery in Hartselle. Rachel and her twin sister Reba were born on November 16 1930 in Danville AL. She and her four siblings were raised in a loving home by her parents and grandmother Mama Shorty. Following her marriage to Ramon Wallace she became a member of Forrest Chapel UMC. Rachel and Ramons dedication to their faith through regular church attendance and active involvement was an encouraging example to friends and family.
