He is survived by his son John Eric Blomquist and wife Julie Hunter Wallace of Brandon daughters Julie Blomquist of Sarasota and Susie Burns Blomquist of Brandon daughterinlaw Lori Felker Blomquist of Gibsonton grandson John Eric Blomquist Jr. and wife Chloe Blomquist of Brandon sister Sarah Ann Chauvin of Baton Rouge and grand dog and companion Samantha Sammie Sue. Carl was predeceased by his wife of 64 years Sharlene Burns Blomquist parents Carl Wheeless Blomquist Sr. and Bessie Cannada Blomquist sister Joyce Gibbes and son Carl Wheeless Blomquist III.
