She resided in Talladega Alabama a place she dearly called home for many years though she was born in Lonoke Arkansas on October 8th 1949. Hattie was a dedicated member of Mt. Canaan Missionary Baptist Church. Hatties passion for education led her to touch countless lives during her career as a Physical Education Teacher with Talladega City Schools. Her dedication to teaching was matched by her academic achievements being an alumna of Scipio A. Jones High School Talladega College and Jacksonville State University.
