She attended Talladega High School and furthered her studies at Talladega Vocational School embodying a life dedicated to learning and hard work. For many years Willie Mae worked as a housekeeper at Citizens Baptist Medical Center in Talladega Alabama. Her dedication strong work ethic and friendly demeanor left a lasting impression on her colleagues and all those who had the pleasure to work alongside her. In her leisure time Willie Mae found joy in cooking solving puzzles and watching TV. She cherished the simple pleasures of life especially sitting on her porch and connecting with others. Her genuine love for people was evident in all her interactions and she was deeply admired and appreciated by everyone who knew her.
