Audrey Christine Overstreet Palmer passed away peacefully at Piedmont Newnan Hospital in Newnan Georgia surrounded by her family on March 28 2026. Audrey was born in Alma Alabama on June 7 1934 to the late Fletcher Overstreet Sr. and Lula Marshall Overstreet. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Joe Pace Palmer sisters Martha Jackson Marilyn Woodyard and Wilda Gilchrist and brothers Lonnie Overstreet Thomas Overstreet and Fletcher Overstreet Jr. Audrey graduated from Jackson High School in 1952. Audrey was a long time active member of First Baptist Church in Leroy Alabama. Audrey had a deep commitment to her Lord. She cherished her family and made many friends over the years.
