Candy was the oldest of three children and the only daughter of Robert Woods Sr. and Louise Hoppe. She and her two brothers grew up in Mineola Long Island New York where she cherished the memories of her childhood and family. Candy was preceded in death by her parents Robert Woods Sr. and Louise Hope her brother Laurance Woods who passed away at the age of 42 and her granddaughters Alicia Ann Keene who passed away at four months old and Tiffany Lee Ann Keene who passed away at the age of 36. She is survived by her daughter Christina Ann Leatherman soninlaw Richard Leatherman granddaughter Tricia Lee Keene greatgrandson Kelahni Harriel greatgranddaughter Rhyatt Alicia Keene cousin Nancy Schaef stepgrandson Eric Leatherman and stepgranddaughters Shauna Anderson and Tiffany Bradtmueller. Thelma Jean Jean Rakes of Bentonville Arkansas passed away on August 18 2026 in Springdale Arkansas at the age of 85. She was born February 21 1941 in Sibley Missouri to Thomas and Lydia Gregg Rinacke. Jean was raised in Sibley and Napoleon Missouri in a close rural community. She attended Fort Osage School and completed her final two years at Wellington High School in Missouri. She shared 66 years of marriage with her husband Charles D. Rakes and together they made their home in Bentonville. Jean worked in data processing for Walmart for 33 years though her greatest devotion was always to her family. Jean was a devoted wife mother grandmother and greatgrandmother.
