David James Farmer, age 79, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away on October 10, 2026, surrounded by his family. David was born on January 4, 1947, in Mt. Sherman, Arkansas, to Samuel H. and Cynthia (Greer) Farmer.David was a professional musician and worked for White-Rodgers (Emerson Electric) and the Harrison Airport. It was while working at the airport that he was introduced to the love of his life, Karen Altman, in 1979. He was affectionately known as “Bear” during his time at the airport. David also enjoyed fishing and vehicles, but his greatest joy, next to Karen, was his family, especially his grandchildren, who lovingly called him “Goggy.”David was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Deanna Faith Farmer; and his brother, Howard Farmer.David is survived by his wife, Karen Farmer, of the home; his daughters, Susan Olivia Collmorgen (Jason) of Forsyth, Missouri, and Crystal Annette Ellen Snowden (Deron) of…
