Donald Ray Poteet 76 of Jacksonville passed away April 1 2026. He was born June 15 1949 in Chattanooga Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his wife Corene Poteet parents and siblings. Donald was a quiet simple man who enjoyed hanging with his buddies at the Waffle House shooting and reading books. Left to cherish his memory are his children Stacy Many Poteet and Christina John Boucher seven grandchildren six great grandchildren and one on the way his neighbor Larry and good friend Mike. A graveside service will be 1100 a.m. Monday April 6 2026 at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock where he will be laid to rest with his wife Corene.
