Marina E. Rina Lopez was a beloved daughter sister wife friend and faithful woman of God whose life reflected love creativity compassion and deep devotion to those around her. Rina was born on November 10 1967 to Marina E. Hernandez and Thomas Hernandez. She grew up in San Francisco with her three siblings Elizabeth Karolyn and Thomas attending Sunnyside Elementary School West Portal Lutheran School and Lowell High School. She spent much of her professional life serving in school districts including in Hayward and Contra Costa County where she faithfully supported and encouraged those around her through her work. For over 25 years Rina was a devoted member of her church community. Her faith was the foundation of her life. A woman of prayer she faithfully interceded for others through her prayer group.
