Kirk Owen Rood was born on October 24 1949 in Omaha Nebraska to Leonard and Darlene Rood. He passed away at his home in Oroville California on May 6 2026. Kirk married Wilma Christine Dean whom he lovingly called "Chris" on April 7 1973 in Las Vegas Nevada. The couple welcomed their son Chance Owen Rood into the world on September 19 1980 and their daughter Tara Christine Rood on September 2 1984. Kirk was a member of the Carpenters Union for over 50 years. On his off time he enjoyed building things around his property. In his later years Kirk enjoyed watching movies in surround sound that could rival any movie theater Kirk was preceded in death by his beloved wife Chris mother Darlene father Leonard brothers Darwin and Dale and Sister Dianna. Doug was born on February 10 1976 in Quincy to Darrell Gene Miller and Shirley Louise Meshell. He grew up alongside his older brother Larry Wayne Miller and carried with him a deep sense of loyalty humor and compassion throughout his life. Doug was a devoted husband to Shelly Miller sharing a life built on love commitment and family. He proudly helped raise Shellys grandchildren Harold and Maggie May loving them as his own and leaving lasting memories in their hearts.
