Born on April 20 1945 in Hamburg New Jersey Dale was the son of Harriet and Charles Rowett. He was predeceased by his brother Gene Rowett. Dale attended Yale University and later earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Dale returned to Connecticut for his medical residency at Yale New Haven Hospital and remained in the state for the rest of his life and career.
