Douglas “ Doug” Lombardi, 84 a lifelong resident of Fresno passed from this life on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 in the comfort of his home following a long and challenging illness. At the time of his passing, he was surrounded by his wife Carla, nephew Tim Patterson, his wife Tammy, their daughter Lexi, and one of Doug’s sweet caregivers, Chanta. Doug was born in Fresno to Floyd and Ann Gamber Lombardi. He was a feisty Italian brother, proud of being 100% Italian and having been raised on the west side of Fresno. He proudly served his Country in the Navy on the USS midway. He was a wonderful father and family man, who was a strong practicing cradle- Catholic, who loved GOD and his S.F. Giants and Forty-Niners!Returning to Fresno he began his career in the Building Trades spanning 60 years building homes, remodeling all types of structures, commercial and residential.…

Having lost her mother at a young age, Martha experienced many hardships early in life that shaped her into the strong, resilient, and devoted woman she became. She found strength in her faith and considered becoming a missionary. God had other plans for her.In 1961, Martha married the love of her life, Tomás J. Rodríguez.
