Edward Allen Kangas 81 of New Canaan Connecticut passed away peacefully at home on May 14 2026 with his wife Cathy and son Scott by his side. He was born on May 22 1944 in Wichita Kansas. Ed earned both his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business Administration from the University of Kansas in 1967 where he was President of Delta Chi Fraternity and VP of the interfraternity council. He went on to build an extraordinary 33 year career in business and finance at Deloitte first as a Partner and culminating in his role as Global Chairman and Chief Executive Officer until his retirement in 2000. After retiring from Deloitte he continued his distinguished career and served on numerous corporate and nonprofit boards including Hovnanian Enterprises a company he was particularly proud of as well as United Technologies Deutsche Bank USA Intelsat Tenet Healthcare and Intuit. Nicola Pop DiFulvio beloved husband father grandfather brother and friend passed away May 16 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Born on November 30 1936 in Fara Filiorum Petri Italy. Nicola carried with him the values of hard work loyalty and devotion to family throughout his life. He proudly served in the Italian Military from 19591961 before immigrating to the United States in March of 1964 in search of a better future for his family and settled in New Canaan CT. On September 15 1962 Nicola married the love of his life Assunta Spadaccini beginning a marriage full of dedication strength and enduring love. William Jones

William Jones 84 of Danbury CT died peacefully while surrounded by his family on Sunday May 10 2026. Bill was born on October 3 1941 in Brooklyn NY to Willie and Annie Jones. He spent most of his formative years in Danbury before joining the United States Marine Corps and being honorably discharged in 1963. He married in 1968 and served as a clerk in the US Postal Service for 24 years. In his spare time he coached youth baseball and was for many years an active member in the Danbury Mens Softball League. Bill spent his retirement hosting Bible study classes driving all over to watch his grandkids games and recitals and watching any and every professional sporting event.
