TOLLAND, MA - Marcella C. Miller, 88, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, May 10, 2026. Marcie was born on May 25, 1937, and grew up in Winsted. She later settled in Colebrook and was the loving wife of the late John Charles Miller for 58 wonderful years.Marcie was a teacher in the Winsted school system for over 30 years. She earned her MA and 6th year Certificate from Central CT State University and finished her career as a reading consultant. Her enduring dedication to children and commitment to literacy was recognized, and she received the Milken Foundation Award for Excellence in Teaching in 1994. Marcie served as the CT Chapter President of the Delta Kappa Gamma society for educators and sat on the Beardsley Library Board. Born July 17, 1957 in Greenville, Maine; the son of Betty (Lavigne) Wyman and the late Morris Wyman.Kim proudly served his country in the Military. He was retired after a long career as a Truck Driver. He enjoyed hunting, watching his programs on TV and loved enjoying meals with his family. He was an avid reader and especially enjoyed the Dunes series books.He is survived by his children, Dennis Wyman of Utah, Pat Wyman and Rebecca Wyman, both of New Hartford; siblings, Jeanne Wyman of Maine and William "Bill" Wyman of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
