She was predeceased by her fiance Donald Fagan and is survived by her four cherished children Timothy and his wife Danielle of Beacon Falls Marie and her husband William of Hamden John of Pennsylvania and Anthony of Oregon and seven adored grandchildren Jaime Jennifer Abbie Ashton Julia Leela Lucas and Max. She was also predeceased by her brothers Robert and Thomas and survived by her brother Glen and sisters Judy Sandy Bonnie and Robin along with many cousins nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Emily Uhry died of melanoma March 21 2026 at home with her family in Ridgefield Connecticut. She was a writer and a mother of three. Emily was born March 10 1961 in New York City the eldest of four daughters born to Joanna Kellogg and Alfred Uhry. She grew up on Manhattans Upper West Side and attended The Calhoun School from preschool through high school. She went on to earn her B.A. in English and History from Brown University in 1983. She spent her twenties in San Francisco and moved back east to live her last 30 years in Connecticut. Emily was a voracious reader consuming a new book every day or two. She kept her humor wit and singular perspective until the end. Mary Grace 87 formally of Stamford CT peacefully entered into eternal rest on March 12 2026 at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford CT. Mary Grace was born on August 25 1938 daughter of the late Frank Ferro and Rose Rubino Ferro. She was a bookkeeper for several years and a homemaker. Mary Grace was predeceased by her loving husband Thom of 64 years in 2021. She is survived by her four children Dennis Maribeth Robert Catherine Susan and Shannon Marie. Her four grandchildren Frankie Shane Collin and Arianna. Mary Grace is also survived by her sisters Christine DeMaio and Ann Rose Labozzo. She was predeceased by her brothers Michael Mickey Ferro Samuel Sonny Ferro and Anthony Chic Ferro and her granddaughters Meghan Nicole McMahon and KatieLynne Bevino.
