Gail Frances Facas

With heavy hearts we announce that Gail Frances Facas Bowen joined her beloved husband Hendrick Palm Facas in heaven on February 12 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Gail was born on January 7 1949 to Joseph Bowen and Alice Bowen Boucher in Hartford Connecticut. She graduated from Bacon Academy in Colchester Connecticut in 1966 and went on to earn her teaching degree from Eastern Connecticut State University. In 1969 Gail met the love of her life Hendrick and they were married in 1971. Together they welcomed their first child in 1972. She devoted many years to raising her children and later returned to the classroom teaching at Sacred Heart from 1989 to 2010. She also spent many years as part of the AP family. A devoted mother grandmother and friend Gail gave generously of her time through volunteering and her involvement with Saint Anns Church. She touched countless lives…
