Erin Bulger Widegren 82 of Dunnellon FL formerly of Putnam and Pomfret CT passed away peacefully on March 4 2026 surrounded by family. She was born in Putnam on October 13 1943 to the late Robert and Christine Bulger. Erin was a graduate of Putnam High School and was employed by Rogers Corporation until her retirement in 2002. In retirement she was an active member of the Kiwanis Club Rainbow Springs FL. She also remained active in frequent extended stays in CTMA for family visits and shadowing her grandchildrens activities ranging from bike races sailing regattas lacrosse field hockey baseball hockey and soccer to dance recitals. Erin is survived by her husband Walter Barry Widegren of Dunnellon FL her sons Mark Pamela Gunsalus of Dudley MA Matthew Elizabeth Gunsalus of West Hartford CT Christopher Danielle Bulger of Marblehead MA and daughter Mary Gunsalus of Clinton CT.
