Richard D. Sanderson 68 of Landenberg Pennsylvania peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of his family on Tuesday June 30 2026. Rick was born in Wilmington on January 22 1958. He has fond memories of growing up in Canby Park before moving to Newark. He graduated from St. Marks High School in 1976 where he excelled as a student athlete playing football and baseball. He earned his college degree and MBA from the University of Delaware and was a proud member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity which gave him lifelong friends. Rick enjoyed his career as a CPA watching sports playing golf and tailgating at UD football games. He also loved the camaraderie and special friendships of his softball teams throughout the years.
