Ted Romanos passed away on March 30, 2026, at the age of 97. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin, and a lifelong friend to many. His wit, humor, knowledge, and advice were cherished by all who knew him.Born on August 30, 1928, in New York, Ted came of age with a strong sense of discipline, self-reliance, and personal responsibility. After a brief time in Air Force Cadet Training, he began his career in the fur business before moving to Wall Street. He joined Dreyfus & Co., where he became a Registered Options Principal, spending many successful years in New York before relocating to Florida in 1989. There, he served as Administrative Manager for Paine Webber, overseeing the South Florida complex with steadiness, fairness, and respect.Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ted was deeply devoted and fiercely loyal to his family and friends.
