Thomas Sherman Pietrogallo, 63, of Pompano Beach, Florida, passed away on May 10, 2026. Born on September 19, 1962, in Marshall, Michigan, Tom was the beloved son of the late George and Jobyna Pietrogallo. He is survived by his brothers, George Pietrogallo Jr. and Tim Pietrogallo, his sisters in love, Alice and Amy Pietrogallo, and his cherished nieces and nephews—Alex, Courtney, Sam and Joe.A 1980 graduate of Pennfield High School, Tom went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in social work from Grand Rapids Baptist College, his Master of Social Work from the University of South Florida, and later his MBA from Florida Atlantic University. He became a licensed clinical social worker in 2001.Tom devoted his life to serving others, most notably as CEO of The Poverello Center.
