Wright Mrs. Melba Louise Wright age 78 went home to be with the Lord on May 30 2026 after a longterm illness. Melba was the daughter of the late Ward and Jewell Dean. Melba "Grani" was a native of Jacksonville and a true "Northsider. She lived all her life on Jacksonvilles Northside except for a brief period when she her husband Jack and son Paul lived in Virginia Beach VA when Jack was stationed there. She grew up in Panama Park and graduated from Andrew Jackson High School. Melba was employed at Bodners Bakery as a decorator and later at Conrad Hawkins Chevrolet in accounting and inventory. A devoted wife and mother her pride and joy was her son Paul along with his family which she loved caring for and spending time with. She loved family entertaining and the limelight.
