Pumphrey Stephen Glenn Pumphrey age 71 known to family and friends as Glenn passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 11 2026 in Jacksonville Florida. Glenn was a lifelong commercial fisherman and crabber who spent much of his life on the water. He was a simple and independent man who never needed much for himself but had a generous heart and cared deeply for others. Glenn was especially known for his soft spot for homeless cats around the boat docks often making sure they were fed and cared for. Glenns faith was an important part of his life. He loved the Lord cherished his Bible and had a deep desire to understand and live by Gods Word. He earned a Master of Divinity degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and continued to value his faith and studies throughout his life.
