Gregory Quinn Dawson, 67, of Shreveport, LA died on Sunday, June 7, 2026. Gregory was born onCamp LeJeune Marine Corps Base, NC on September 11, 1958. He grew up in Pensacola, FL andwas baptized at Zion Hope Primitive Baptist Church at a young age.Gregory was educated in the Pensacola Public School System and attended Booker T. WashingtonHigh School. He was a member of the marching band where he played saxophone. He was also amember of the track team. He graduated from the class of 1976 and attended Pensacola JuniorCollege. Greg entered the United States Air Force (USAF) in 1977 and retired after twenty years ofservice. While in the Air Force, he was selected to Tops In Blue, a touring performance ensemblemade up of active duty members of the United States Air Force.After retiring from the USAF, Greg started a new career in the public school system of Shreveport,LA where he…
