Jacob Leonard Bouyer was born on November 14 1939 in Chicago Illinois to Carrie Fletcher Bouyer and Pierce Bouyer Sr. He was the third child born of their union. Jacobs early years were shaped by education family and determination. In 1956 he graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Pensacola Florida and later continued his studies at Malcolm X College in Chicago Illinois. His commitment to learning remained evident throughout every chapter of his life. Jacob devoted more than 30 years of service to the City of Chicago as a dedicated member of the Chicago Police Department. Throughout his distinguished career he served as a police officer detective and member of the Intelligence Division. His keen eye for detail and steady hands also proved invaluable during his work in the departments Photo Lab.
