Herbert Lee Burton was born on September 28 1946 to Ella Jane Burton and William Filyaw in Leland NC. He received his formal education from the New Hanover County Public School system graduating from Williston Senior High School in Wilmington NC. Herbert enlisted into the United States Army on November 1 1968 and was honorably discharged on November 2 1971. Born of the Christian faith Herbert accepted Christ as his Savior at a young age. Later in life he joined New Beginnings Christian Worship Center. Hebert was united in holy matrimony with Ebony Burton on September 3 2005 in Flemington Florida and their union was blessed with 2 children.
