John Konrad Schupp, 55, passed away Monday, May 11, 2026 at his Interlachen residence.Born in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, John had been a resident of Interlachen for the past three years coming from Tampa. He had worked as a carpenter in the residential construction field.In his leisure time, John enjoyed riding his side-by-side, three-wheelers, and spending time with his brother. He was a life member of the VFW in Interlachen. Even though John and Julie were married a short time, they packed a lot of adventure into their life.He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Gieger; and a nephew, Adam Ould.Survivors include wife, Julie Schupp of Interlachen; his father, Joseph Schupp of Tampa; brother, Joe Schupp (Anne) of Interlachen; sister, Heidi Schupp of Pennsylvania; nieces, Nichole Schupp, Samantha Schupp and Carolyn Ould; and a nephew, Joseph Schupp.No services are planned at this time. Perhaps fueled by those hungry, war-mouth perch he used to catch while walking to school after, “missing the bus.” Those exploits ended when coach Lawrence caught on, and called us out.Dave was an athlete.
