Annie Pinkston affectionately known and loved by many was born on September 28 1950 in Memphis Tennessee to the late Roosevelt Cherry and Estella Cherry. Annie was a proud Tennessee country girl whose roots remained an important part of her identity throughout her life. She attended Barretts Chapel High School where she received her early education and began building the foundation for the remarkable woman she would become. Annie departed this earthly life on August 11 2026 leaving behind a beautiful legacy of faith family love music and more than five decades of dedicated service in nursing. For over 50 years Annie devoted her life to caring for others as a nurse. Her career included serving at Sarasota Memorial Hospital JH Floyd Sunshine Manor in Sarasota Florida and Miracle Hill in Tallahassee Florida.
