Larry Edward Johnson age 79 passed away February 12 2026 after an extended illness.He is a native of Bacon County born June 14 1946 to the late Wesley Johnson and Dorothy Meeks Johnson. He is preceded in death by his wife Nadine Carter Johnson his son Eugene Johnson daughter Tessie Johnson granddaughter Jessica Johnson greatgranddaughter Riley Johnson brother Laverne Johnson sisters Betty Taylor Mary Sue Chapel and Deanie Ellis. He is survived by his daughter Heather Dudley Erik of Alma son Keith Johnson Gloria his loving partner Gail Nipper eleven grandchildren seventeen greatgrandchildren several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service will be held Monday at Wolf Pit Church Cemetery at 2 PM with Rev. Danny Turner and R.B. Gaskins officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the cemetery from 1 PM until service time.
