Bobbie J. Carmichael age 86 passed away peacefully on Thursday October 8th at her home in Hinesville Georgia. Born on July 7th in Marion South Carolina to Nathan Davis and Ada Nichols Davis Bobbie grew up with a kindness and joyful spirit that stayed with her for a lifetime. She grew up in a lively household alongside her siblings Mary Jean Davis Caroline Davis Mary Evelyn Davis Nathaniel Davis Edith Ann Davis and Joyce Davis. After earning her GED she dedicated 32 years to a career in nursing before retiring from A. Holly Patterson Extended Care on Long Island NY. In 1962 Bobbie married the love of her life Jordan C. Carmichael and together they shared 47 wonderful years of laughter family and love. Bobbie took immense pride in being a devoted wife mother and grandmother even fostering a son Eric Charles.
