Nettie D Elrod age 99 of Chatsworth passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday October 102026 following a very brief illness. Nettie was preceded in death by her only son William Dixon Little Bill Elrod her parents and her siblings. Nettie was a devoted mother and homemaker first and foremost. In her later years she enjoyed dealing in antiques and taught school for several years. She also loved traveling. The family is especially grateful for the kindness and help we received by Dawn Hooper Jennifer Buckman Samantha Keener and Amedisys Hospice. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimers Association of Georgia or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. Linda Wilson Risner

Born on August 12 1950 Linda was the daughter of the late Clifford Wilson and Pearl Pauline Crider Wilson. She worked for several years as an office manager at Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine P.C. before retiring. Linda was a thoughtful and loving person who had a special way of making those she cared about feel remembered and loved often sending sweet gifts and thoughtful surprises. She shared a particularly close and affectionate bond with her cousin Patricia whom she lovingly called Sis. Linda also had a deep love for animals and her beloved fur babies were an important part of her life. Jackson Lil Bit Bilbo Sunshine Sunny Molly Coco Yum Yum and Zeva brought companionship and joy to her days.
