A resident of Jesup for the past thirtythree years Judy was born on October 1 1949 in Shreveport Louisiana to the late Jasper and June Rodden. She was a fiercely independent and tenderhearted woman who devoted her life to caring for others. Judy found joy in the simple things like being outdoors tending to her garden and spending time with her fur babies. Her greatest joy came from encouraging and uplifting those around her. Whether it was a holiday or just because Judy loved sending cards to brighten someones day always wanting others to feel remembered valued and loved. In addition to her parents Judy was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband Barry Alan Colbert whom she shared over fiftythree loving years with.
