Martin William Bill Washburn Jr. 94 of Emmett Idaho passed away on Friday August 7 2026. Bill was born September 28 1931 in Los Angeles California to Martin William Sr. and Virginia Moore Washburn nee ORear. He was the oldest of four brothers Jim Gary and Bobby and as the son of a minister he had to move multiple times during his childhood only to return to Southern California at 14 after one year of school at Miltonvale Wesleyan College in Kansas. He graduated from Mark Keppel High School in Monterey Park CA and went on to Pasadena Junior College. After one year of studies Bill joined the US Navy in June 1950 and proudly served during the Korean War aboard the USS Bon Homme Richard. Archie L. Andrus 91 passed away August 6 2026 in Emmett Idaho. Archie was born January 18 1935 in Branch Louisiana. He was the youngest of three children born to Walter and Ernie Milligan Andrus. He grew up in Rayne Louisiana and after graduating high school earned a degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and then served in the U.S. Army. He later attended seminary school and served as an Episcopal priest while earning a masters degree in theater from Trinity University. He spent his career teaching drama and set design at the University of Houston. Archie will be remembered for his sharp wit keen insight never failing sense of humor and his ability to connect with people.
