Kenneth L. Blenz passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at KMC on March 30, 2026. Ken was 69 years old.Ken was born May 25, 1956 in Spokane, Washington. He moved to Deer Park at the age of 12, where he began building the life and values that would carry him through the years. On December 4, 1978, he married the love of his life, Susan Blenz (Morse). Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and lasting memories in Blanchard, Idaho.Ken drove log trucks and worked for Forrest Enterprises until 1985. That same year, Ken and Sue took over the Blanchard Tavern, creating a place where friends and neighbors gathered to share good food, cold beer, and even better conversation. Walter Cecil Hardy, 89, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026. He was born July 11, 1936, in Sanger, California, to John and Rosella (Stevenson) Hardy, and was raised in Dunsmuir, where he graduated from Dunsmuir High School. He went on to attend Sacramento State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.Walt enlisted in the United States Army and served overseas as a Military Police officer from 1954 to 1957. Following his honorable discharge, he returned home and met Doris Nell Bible. The two were married on September 10, 1958, in Roseville, California, beginning a devoted partnership that spanned 67 years and was blessed with four children.He served as a Los Angeles County Police Officer from 1957 to 1965 before moving to North Idaho in 1968. Linda “Sue” Taylor, 75, passed away March 30, 2026 at Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho due to a stroke.Sue was born June 28, 1950, in Kellogg, Idaho to Floyd and Nina McCoy.She grew up in Kellogg and Wardner, Idaho and graduated with the class of 1968.Sue married David Taylor of Kellogg on February 6, 1971, together they raised two children: a daughter, Julie and son, Garren. February 6, 2026, they celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary.Sue’s first real job was at DB’s Café in Kellogg. Robert (Bob) Marshall Kayser, 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2026, with family by his side.Bob was born on May 25, 1934, in Farmington, Illinois. He was raised in Whitewater, Wisconsin, where he spent his early years before graduating from Whitewater High School. Following graduation, he traveled west to pursue his passion for the arts. He attended art school in Los Angeles and lived in Hollywood, California, where he worked at a theater and developed a lifelong love for creative arts, movies, and storytelling.In July 1956, Bob married Caroline Carter. They soon moved to Santa Barbara, California, where they welcomed four daughters into their family: Laura, Nancy, Susan, and Julie.
