Richard Elmer Buster passed away at St. Luke’s hospital in Twin Falls, ID surrounded by the love of his family and Trigger, his dog. Funeral services will be held at St. Charles Catholic Church in Salmon on June 6 at 12:00 p.m. preceded by the Rosary at 10:50 a.m. Burial will be at the Salmon Cemetery with dinner served afterward by the Alter Society at the St. Charles Catholic Hall. James Robert “Jim” Bennetts, 91, passed away peacefully and with his sense of humor, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. Born on September 3, 1934, Jim was raised in Challis, Idaho, where he lived, worked, and served his community throughout his life.Jim graduated from Challis High School in 1952 and attended Idaho State University, earning his undergraduate degree in 1956 while participating in the ROTC program. He proudly served in the United States Army, was deployed to Germany, and attained the rank of First Lieutenant as part of one of the first surface‑to‑air missile battalions guarding Western Germany during the early Cold War.Jim earned his law degree from the University of Idaho College of Law and practiced law in Challis for more than 60 years, building a reputation for integrity, compassion, and service. Dan was born in Grangeville, Idaho on June 29, 1959, to Ruth and Linnis Smith. Dan was welcomed home by his three older siblings, Grady, Dick, and Dorothy. Later, Dan was blessed with a younger brother, Kelly. Dan passed away at his home in Leadore on May 6, 2026.Dan spent his younger years in White Bird, Idaho. Then the family moved back to Leadore, Idaho, where Dan finished his education, graduating in May 1978.Dan married Kelly Moulton on November 22, 1984. They enjoyed many adventures together, but most of all enjoyed the birth of their two sons, Travis and Timber. At 49 years old, Coty Lynn Tyacke peacefully went to sleep at the Hyde Creek Ranch, the place she loved most.Coty Lynn Tyacke was born March 9, 1977, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Christine Tyacke and Michael Tyacke. She was strong willed, ethical, and compassionate, never afraid to stand her ground when she believed something was wrong, especially with it involved the health and well-being of others.Growing up, she loved jumping on the trampoline, riding bikes, and playing T-ball. But her greatest joy was spending time in Salmon at the Hyde Creek Ranch, riding horses, working cattle, swimming in the reservoir, searching for snakes and frogs and enjoying the freedom of ranch life.Coty graduated from Hillcrest High School and attended the university of Idaho before deciding her talents and interests were better suited outside the classroom.
