Janet Karen Jenkins Sutherland 83 passed peacefully of natural causes on March 31 2026 at her home in Eagle Idaho surrounded by her six children. Janet was born on June 10 1942 in Pendleton Oregon to her parents Stanley and Lillian Jenkins and grew up alongside her brothers Gary Larry Arlen Stanley Jr. and Reed. She married John Sutherland in 1978 and together they had six children Alden Sutherland Tammy Becky Wolery Kelly Carla Walter Shane Eric Sutherland and Franz Sutherland Debbie. She was blessed with 34 grandchildren and 52 great grandchildren A funeral service will be held at 200 p.m. on April 7th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints chapel located at 700 W. State St. Eagle Idaho. Janet will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered for her unwavering faith wonderful friends and the legacy she leaves through her family.
