Virginia Lee Summers 97 of Ashland Illinois died Tuesday February 10 2026 at Cass County Senior Living and Rehab in Virginia. She was born April 24 1928 in Cass County the daughter of Walter Lee and Blanche Louise Camp Orr. Virginia married Clarence A. Buss Summers on February 16 1948 in Virginia and he preceded her in death on May 25 2001. She is survived by her children Carroll Summers exwife Marcie Altman and Caron Garmon companion Alex Leonard both of Ashland grandchildren Annette Bottens companion Jon Rice and Cathleen Lara companion Alan Gory Carmen Cline and Andrew McCartney great grandchildren Cadence Kristen Carson Kyler Jasmine Jaina Jemma Addison Isabella Daylin Jake and Annabella and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents husband and sister Betty Babe Lewis. Virginia often volunteered at Lewis Memorial Christian Village in Springfield. She enjoyed going down to the gun…
