Daphne Lynn Reed Dixon 60 of Danville IL went to glory with her Heavenly Father peacefully on Friday March 20 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family and her lovable dog Sparky who also stayed at her side at 507 PM. Daphne was born June 1 1965 at St. Elizabeth Hospital to the late Superintendent Lee A. Reed Sr. and Beverly Reed. On September 5 2015 Daphne united in marriage to the love of her life Mark Dixon who preceded her in death in 2017. He was a Special Stepdad in sharing and caring for her children. Daphne attended Garfield Elementary School North Ridge Middle School and Danville High School with a successful completion of attendance and Bachelor of Arts Degree from Ashford University in 2016.
