Helen Marie Fillman Daniels 89 of Kirkland IL. died on March 31 2026 at her home surrounded by her family. Helen was a graduate of the Abraham Lincoln High School Des Moines IA. Class of 1955. She continued her education at Broadlawns Nursing School Des Moines IA Class of 1958. She was a registered nurse for over 30 years. Along with working she kept busy with her hobbies including embroidery being a talented seamstress and also doing word searches and sudoku puzzles. He was born in Chicago IL to George Sirovy and Juanita Collins Sirovy on December 19 1938. The fifth of their seven children. He was raised in Addison IL and attended Walther Lutheran High School in Melrose Park IL. Throughout his childhood he was an active parishioner of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Addison IL and while growing up he helped tend local farms in the Addison area and updated electrical service in the old farmhouses. Robert was a machinist for Binks Manufacturing Company for some time before moving up at Binks to develop spray gun systems. He had two patents for his work. After 39 years at Binks he worked for DeVry University in Addison for 19 years before he retired. He had a special interest in gardening and spoke often of his garden he tended at a young age.
