He married Tammy James on July 20 1997 in Newman IL. He is survived by his wife of 29 years Tammy Trammel stepchildren Christina James Toczyl and Heather James Kelly siblings Jimmy Teresa Trammel Arris Jerry Trammel Jr. Susie Richard Grise and Rachel Parker and two furry companions Sissy and Gizmo. Gene will be remembered as a devoted husband proud Army veteran and a man who found joy in the outdoors. Amy was born to Clemon and Verda Turner Headrick on July 5 1928 in Tompkinsville KY. She married Paul Howard on July 12 1947 and spent 28 years together before his passing.
